FEAFlaw™ is a Windows®-based 3D finite element stress analysis program with automatic mesh generation. The 3D crack mesh generator creates ready-to-run input files for Abaqus, Ansys and Warp3D as well as FEMAP neutral files. You don't need to be a finite element specialist to use FEAFlaw™. An intuitive Windows® interface guides you step by step through the process of building the model, running the analysis, and viewing the results.
FEAFlaw™ contains a pre-defined library of pressure vessel and piping components. Local thin areas (LTAs) can be placed in a wide range of locations. Simply enter the relevant dimensions, and the finite element mesh is created automatically. Unlike conventional 3D meshers, there is no need to build a solid model of the structure.
FEAFlaw™ contains a extensive library of complex components including:
- Nozzle-to-head and nozzle-to-shell geometries
- Set-in and set-on nozzles
- Nozzles with and without reinforcement pads
- Nozzles with integral reinforcement
- Head-to-shell junctions
- Spherical, elliptical and torispherical heads
- Internal and external stiffening rings
- Flanges
- 2 LTAs in close proximity
- LTAs in Piping Elbows
