Reliability Management System™ (RMS) Software

Whether the need is for a full plant-scale Inspection/Reliability Database Management System (IDMS) or a specialized single-asset module for an existing IDMS or EAM (enterprise asset management) system, Quest Reliability’s Reliability Management System™ software offers a practical and cost-effective asset management solution.
- Purpose: IDMS oriented to high temperature plants, primarily for use by reliability engineers and plant operators. Generally applicable to refining, petrochemical and power plants. Currently used for:
- Synthetic gas plants (ammonia, hydrogen, methanol)
- Refineries
- Power plants (thermal and geothermal)
- Specialized modules: Fired Heater, Steam Reformer
- Major Functionalities:
- Full-cycle equipment life management: generate equipment-specific inspection tasks linked to critical degradation mechanisms, track non-conformances, log detailed inspection reports, modification history, and failure history.
- Record key equipment design and operating data, including reports, drawings, schematics, photographs.
- Calculation of risk, risk rankings and matrices based on API 581
- Content compliance with in-service inspection standards
- Interface to enterprise resource planning software (e.g., SAP), organize and link to external datasets and files
- Selected Features: specialized equipment registers covering all core asset types and components (process vessels, tanks, piping, heat exchangers, cranes, process fired heaters, PSDs, and nozzles), easy-to-use, quick access menus and outcome-oriented navigation buttons, robust and secure multiple-user system, numerous pre-built reports as well as a custom report writer.
